There is a cafe and pub downstairs with a lovely outdoor area and great food. However, with that in mind it can get a bit noisy if you plan to sleep early on weekends. It is located in the heart of the town center and close to it’s main attractions. A night here will cost you a minimum of just over $200.
Drift House
Nestled on the banks of the Moyne River and just a short distance away from East Beach, Drift House is considered one of the best luxury accommodation options in Port Fairy. This place boasts an outdoor swimming pool and bikes for ren. Ther ar fireplaces in each of the suites, which are beautifully adorned with modern touches and high-quality furnishings.

We are not the only ones who like this architecturally designed accommodation. Drift House was dubbed the Best Luxury Accommodation in the state by the Victorian Tourism Awards in 2014. Drift House will cost you around a minimum of around $600 per night with a great breakfast included in the contemporary dining room.
Clonmara Country House and Cottages
Clonmara Country House and Cottages can be found on Princes Highway, just a short walk from the town centre and its great cafes and restaurants. Built in 1855, this cozy accommodation is known for its country charm. It features 1.5 acres of well-manicured gardens and pastures with grazing cows and alpacas.

There are three accommodation options that you can choose from: a one-bedroom cottage with spa bath, a superior chalet, and a holiday home for those who are travelling in a group. Merrijig Inn
Merrijig Inn is a highly rated inn located in the center of Port Fairy. It has heaps of character, a fully stocked library, lounge and lovely gardens to enjoy. All the rooms are adorned with antiques to match the history of this holiday property which is one of the oldest buildings in Port Fairy.

The staff are really friendly and attentive and guests rave about the complimentary breakfast. The Victoria Apartments
The Victoria Apartments are spacious, clean and comfortable. They come equipped with towels, crockery to whip up a meal and minimalistic decor. Cherry Plum Cottages
Cherry Plum Cottages are homey, tranquil and perfect for couples looking for a getaway at the end of the Great Ocean Road. You won’t want to leave the property once you discover its beautiful gardens and bird song, which you can enjoy from the cottage porches. The main host Dianne is a delight. She often leaves local goods like fresh bread, tea, jam, butter and milk in the cottages for guests to enjoy.

Each cottage features a fully equipped kitchen and a flat-screen TV complete with a DVD player. Cherry Plum Cottages require a minimum stay of two nights so plan on staying longer than one night. Prices start at $170 per night.
Laneway Apartments – Vesper
If you’re looking for a beautiful apartment for your large group, then Laneway Apartments might be the answer. Every detail has been paid attention to with these apartments. They are located just under one kilometre away from Pea Soup Beach and feature all the amenities you might need for a getaway – from barbecue facilities to a patio, fully equipped kitchen, modern bathrooms, and of course, free WiFi. Just as its name suggests, this gem can be found on Bank Street right in the heart of the city and a few steps away from restaurants, shops and other Port Fairy treasures. Apart from its great location, 54 on Bank is known for its cozy ambience.

Port Boutique Accommodation

The Port Fairy YHA is a great option for backpackers or solo travelers. Here you can choose from a bed in a dormitory or a private room. The hostel is set in a historical building and converted stables, located between the river, the beach and close to shops. There is a wealth of communal areas to enjoy including a games room with a pool table, big kitchen and outdoor areas.

The hostel has a really friendly atmosphere, where it is easy to meet other travelers. A night here will set you back $89 for a private room.
Seacombe House Motor Inn
Originally built in the mid 19th century, Seacombe House Motor Inn offers an array of accommodation options for you to choose from. They are spread across three distinct buildings and located just five minutes from the Port Fairy Wharf. The rooms are known to be spacious, clean and pleasantly decorated, and the communal courtyard is a plus.

The park is located directly on the banks of Moyne River place making it perfect for those who love the outdoors. Aside from that, it is an easy walk into town if you need to get supplies and there is a children’s playground.
